The brand has established itself as one of the most important European retailers within the Sport and Wellness industry. Born in 1976 in northern France with the aim of providing sports equipment for beginners or enthusiasts with the best value for money, it has gained popularity in Italy since 1993 with the opening of the first store located in Milan, endorsing the values of well-being and amateur sport.
MINI SITE DECATHLON20ANNI
The goal was to celebrate the 20 years anniversary of the brand in Italy,
by involving users with a mini website that enclosed a timeline with Decathlon’s history and major achievements.
Therefore we have realized a mini website using the emotional key and the parallax technique, to create a greater impact on users. The aspects on which we focused included the passion for sport and the physical well-being as well as the “human” dimension of the Decathlon Brand, which is made of people, stories and experiences that we wanted to tell and share through social media.
The goal was to create a video to celebrate the 20 years of Decathlon in Italy, evoking some of the Brand’s icon products and its values, such as passion for sports and wellness. We therefore decided to create an ad hoc video starting from a few popular products and using a classic frame to frame animation.
